I've always hated journals
Quite a bit has happened over the past few months. To kick it off, I am now leading a group of other students at school in development of a video game. We joined the International Game Developers Association for our own reasons; I personally want some scholarship money. Amidst all this, we're having our new house remodeled. I've been breathing toxic fumes and sleeping on a love-seat for a month now. Reminds me of my first two years out of high school.

I broke up with Amanda again. It took me 8 years to find out that she never really loved me. But hey, atleast I found out.

I had Wendy's for Thanksgiving. I quit smoking, and I still haven't drank heavily since I moved here. A few days ago I woke up and the sun was out and I was off that day. So were my parents, so we went to lunch. On the way there, the skies closed in on us and it came a god damn blizzard for about 2 hours, which made for interesting fall weather.

I purchased Monkey Ball for the Wii. Thank god they went back to the "let's make everything except the first 10 levels fuckin' hard" formula.

Last but not least, I've finally made a few friends here. Some were voluntary, some not. I headed up a project for another group of students last quarter for their capstone. They wanted a commercial to advertise this real estate game they had. So we made one, and in said commercial, I played a homeless guy that is supposed to describe how much life blows because I didn't play this game. I came fully equipped with cardboard-box-house, holes in socks and shirt, dirty clothes, and Old English malt liquor. The fuckers had the nerve to invite the entire school to this huge presentation to this bullshit commercial we threw together in 2 weeks, and now people I've never seen before laugh at me constantly. Good god damn times.

Clubba's Kiosk
I've had an unusually horrible sinus infection for the past week. I was supposed to start work at Rhino Games here in Knoxville today, but I woke up with fucking pink eye. So I go to the clinic for some antibiotics, and my wary gaze focuses on smoke billowing from beneath my hood. Thy radiator hath exploded. So instead of dropping $450 to get it fixed, I've spent a total of $73 and a days labor and replaced it myself. Junk Yards are my new favorite thing in this world.... My favorite thing next to Lego Fuckin' Star Wars II!

The Great Media Satan
Finally, something happens in my life worth sharing with a few people. I just recieved a letter from charter communications, which was an anti-piracy notice, with a forwarded letter from NBC Universal. This letter stated that my IP address and I were involved in copyright infringement on Jul. 20th. They know that I downloaded an episode of the FUCKING TONIGHT SHOW OF ALL FUCKING THINGS!!!!, via TorrentSpy. Ya know what? If these people are going to start tagging there shit for tracking purposes, we should be able to sue music producers for signing shitty musicians. We should be able to sue screenwriters, directors, and producers for making shitty movies left and fucking right, then charging eight Goddamn dollars to see a pile of steamy fucking shit.

Either way, there is no telling what else they have me on since Jul. 20th. This is shit.

Late birthday update: March 31st

I'm now 23 years old. All I wanted for my birthday was to go to "Ye Olde Steakhouse" and drink lager from a real life, wooden gobblet, and eat rare steak until I shit myself. But my parents postponed and put off with "I don't feel good tonight" like they usually do. Yet I was astonished when a few days later my mother comes in the door with a real life birthday present. Something I have not experienced in several years. She walks in with a bag, and in this bag were a few items which have brought alot of glee my way over the course of this week. Rubiks Cube, Autoloader sticky dart gun (ass kickery abound), silly putty and yes....oh yes.....several flavors of FLOAM!!!!! Yes, Floam, the greatest substance ever created next to Nickelodeon Gak, which I used to have as well. Bottom line, greatest birthday since I was 6. Thank you Mom, you're the greatest.

Things that are good - Things that suck
I got golf clubs now, and can still hit pretty good suprisingly. Still can't putt worth a shit though. School sucks my ass because of the people. 3DsMax is starting to click finally though, so that helps, but my lack of knowledge with geometry is hurting. Still have no friends, and because of that I'm thinking about moving back down south. I don't want to for many many reasons. But Amanda's there and my friends are too. Being this far from Amanda is beginning to really take it's toll on me. Still my days consist of going to work for a few hours, going to school only two days a week, and since Tues. playing Metroid Prime Hunters religiously. So 90% of my time is wasted doing nothing. But I'm getting really good at Hunters, which doesn't add up because I historically suck at shooters. I think I'm willing to trade commute to work and school for hurricanes, mexicans, assholes, clogged roads, destruction, shitty soil, and pine trees (or lack thereof now), just so I can be close to Amanda. What would you do? Would you trade convenience for happiness? I think I might.

Oh and I'd be forfeiting sword fighting lessons.

I'm no Swayze fan, but Road House just came on, and I am forever thankful to cable television.

So who's ready for the end?
I am for one. I've been thinking about this shit for years. I've been waiting for everything to go to shit for a long time and now I feel completely prepared. I define preparedness actually. I got guns, smokes, and all important liqour. Nothing could ruin my life now. Except this lady:

She makes me think two thoughts; One, the end is near. Two, this is why.

I've had a good week and a bad week.

Bad: My math teacher confuses left and right, and can't add, subtract, multiply, or divide. We kept him on his toes no less than 19 times in 2 hours yesterday while he attempted pre-algebra. ITT here in devoid of stupid black people, but runs rampant with weird white people. I can't tell which is worse, getting stabbed and relieved of personal belongings or being eaten.

Good: My boss gave me a full set of golf clubs for $20. A classmate is giving me his Sega Saturn for free. The earth is good to me.

Yesterday, I got an old showerhead. It shoots good ol' H2O with the force of 10,000 warriors.

Current Mood: pleasedpleased
